Attend an Andy Warhol exhibit in Fullerton

Andy Warhol has turned into one of the most famous artist in the last century. Over the course of his lifetime, Warhol created thousands of drawings, paintings and other works. If you are a fan of the legendary arts, the Fullerton Museum will be hosting “THE LATE DRAWINGS OF ANDY WARHOL 1973-1987” exhibit on May 21.

Here is a quick excerpt from the museum press release: “The late drawings from 1973 to 1987 employ a confident and fluid contour line to depict many of the same motifs of his iconic paintings: celebrity portraits, flowers and ads. Many of the drawings in this exhibition are on view for the first time.” If you are a fan, do not miss out on this wonderful art event.

Saturday is National Takeback Day in Fullerton

On Saturday, April 30 2016 the Fullerton Police Department will be participating in National Takeback Day from 10 am to 2pm. The event is a nationwide campaign which allows individuals to “safely dispose of their pharmaceutical and over-the-counter products at the Police Department in a convenient, drive-through fashion, curbside on the Highland Ave. side of the Police Department.”

Drop off is free and open to the public and will be anonymous, which means no questions will be asked. So if you have any items that need disposing, please participate in this great safety community event.  For more information or to find out a specification of items that can be dropped off, please call (714) 738-6836. Many cities end up participating in this program, so even if you are not in this area, you can still find a local police department participating,
