Construction work being done on or near your apartment can be a drag. The loud noise will keep you awake and the dust will dirty your car to no end. Here are a few tips and tricks for dealing with the situation.

 

Know the rules:  every city will have different regulations for construction work, but the most typically are no work before or after 7am and 5pm.

 

Tarps: if dust is getting everywhere, the construction crew is typically responsible for putting up tarps and plastics to keep the mess contained to a certain area.

 

Talk to management: the biggest key to this entire situation is talking to your apartment manager and figuring out what they can do to help the situation.
