3 of the Best Plant Types For Your Apartment

Adding a plant into your apartment’s décor can add a nice pop of color and highlight your overall sense of décor. The trouble with plants is that most of us are not green thumbs and get confused about the best type to use. Here is a quick look at three great plants to use in your apartment.

Snake plants: this is the perfect plant for someone who is rarely home. The snake plant can survive in the near dark, requires little water, and purifies the air.

Ponytail palm: this plant needs consistent light but very little water. You can place it on a window sill and watch it thrive with little care.

Iron plant: this plant was given its name because of its capacity for neglect. The plant has Chinese origins and needs little water or light.

How To Plan a Romantic Weekend Get Away

Planning a romantic weekend getaway can take your relationship to the next level (or it can end it right in its track). If you are planning on taking a trip soon, here are three tips for creating the perfect weekend getaway.

Take charge. doesn’t matter if you are male or female, take charge and plan the entire weekend without asking for permission. Going on a trip that is entirely planned can be a lot of fun and your partner will appreciate it.

Don’t plan everything. sure, go ahead and plan a few things, but don’t plan everything. The best romance can come from spontaneity, so leave room for something special to happen.

Be cheesy. its ok to be cheesy and over romantic during a weekend trip. Buy candles, roses to spread on the bed, and make a romantic play list.
